I can't remember how or when I began collecting the houses but I now have 49 and have bought dome of them on ebay. Some of them have been from KLM flights that my husband has got for me when travelling on business. They remind me of Delft, Amsterdam and places like that | |

My husband collects these for me whenever he flys KLM on business, my father was born in Groningen and I think they are beautiful treasures from his past. I found this site because he is flying home this week and wanted to know which one I wanted - the Groningen one of course, but I discovered that we can order online...awesome! My wife introduced me to the KLM houses having lived in Holland and flown with KLM. The collection has been a jumping off point for the exploration of Dutch architecture, history and the people. Our limited display, 45 so far, is a constant reminder of delightful visits to Holland and that we must return soon. | |
